Folly’s Finest features a rotating single origin coffee selected by Head Roaster Folly Jeff, a certified Q-Grader and nationally ranked coffee taster (forreal, there’s a national competition). Every so often, we taste a sample that knocks our socks off, but due to limited availability, higher price points, or a number of other reasons it doesn’t fit within our existing selections. Folly’s Finest allows us to jump on these opportunities.

Washed Baroida Papua New Guinea

Farm: Baroida Estate
This coffee comes from the Baroida Estate in the Kainantu District of Papua New Guinea. Careful harvesting and quality control helps maintain the high quality of this estate's coffees. After being sorted, the cherry is pulped and dry fermented for 36 hours. It is then washed and sundried on tarps with regular turning to ensure even drying. The result is a cup with a caramel sweetness, lemon-like acidity, with undertones of currant and praline.
