Drink coffee from Folly Coffee, an award winning Minnesota coffee roaster! SOB Espresso is an invention all our own. We take a single origin coffee, dark roast a portion just before second crack in the roast profile, light roast the remaining portion, and blend them back together for a one-of-a-kind Single Origin Blend, or SOB. Our coffees are ethically sourced and carefully roasted. As a result, this espresso has rich depth of flavor with a complex caramel backbone and nougat aroma. This coffee is available in 12oz and 5 pound bags with nitrogen flushing & one way valves to keep the coffee fresh during shipment.. A true omniroast, this coffee is perfect for espresso, Aeropress, French Press, and drip coffee.

All our coffees are roast to order. Roasting occurs weekly on Thursdays and orders are shipped within 24 hours of roast

This coffee comes from the Luya Province of Peru, a high altitude region of Peru creating ideal growing conditions for incredible coffees. The coffee is collected from a collective of farmers, each with farms of 1 to 4 hectares, where the coffee is hand picked and processed on location. Hand pulpers are used to depulp the coffee cherries, and then are fermented for 36-48 hours. The coffees are then dried on small patios. The resulting coffee is has a natural milk chocolate, caramel sweetness and light berry acidity. This works beautifully for the SOB Espresso, with the dark roasted portion bringout out the chocolate richess, and the light roasted portion creating complexity in the fruit-like acidity.
